Nicholas Sleeper

Nicholas Sleeper is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kirana AI, an artificial intelligence startup based in New York, New York. Founded in 2025 alongside his former Harvard University roommate and Chief Technology Officer Prateek Pinisetti, the two-person company develops automated management software for physical grocery store operations. Kirana AI recently participated in the Y Combinator Spring 2025 accelerator batch under the guidance of partner David Lieb to build out its ordering, pricing, and task delegation systems. Prior to establishing his current venture, Sleeper worked as a software engineer at the sports stock market platform PredictionStrike, where he developed technical infrastructure. His current focus on building artificial intelligence solutions for the food retail sector is directly informed by his operational background working at his family's independent grocery business, an enterprise that has operated continuously for over 100 years.
