Newth Morris

Newth Morris is a Managing Director at Ankona Capital, a venture capital firm based in Newport Beach, California. He co-founded the investment firm in 2019, recently closing a $127 million second fund following an oversubscribed $66 million inaugural vehicle in 2021. Prior to his venture capital career, Morris co-founded the enterprise logistics software company Telogis in 2000, which he helped scale over sixteen years until its $900 million acquisition by Verizon in 2016. Following the transaction, he served as Senior Vice President for connected car and IoT initiatives at Verizon and currently holds a board of directors seat at GoSite. Having started his professional career as an electronic systems designer at Electronic Design Associates, his current investment focus centers on growth-stage B2B SaaS companies generating $5 million to $15 million in annual revenue.
