Newman Hu

Newman Hu is the co-founder of Quantstruct, a Y Combinator-backed startup developing artificial intelligence agents for technical documentation. Before launching the company alongside Sarthak Srinivas in January 2025, he built search infrastructure at Moveworks, where he scaled an agent developer platform from inception to a multi-million-dollar annual recurring revenue. He previously engineered mission-critical search systems for generative AI experiences at Replit and served as a Kleiner Perkins engineering fellow. Hu holds an electrical engineering and computer science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a published, patent-holding researcher from Georgia Tech. At Quantstruct, he deploys automated systems that update thousands of documentation guides for hypergrowth clients like Vapi and Fortune 500 enterprises. His career focus remains centered on engineering scalable search infrastructure and building enterprise artificial intelligence tools for modern developer platforms.
