Nerida Scott

Nerida Scott is the Head of Johnson & Johnson Innovation for the EMEA region, based in London, United Kingdom. In this capacity, she directs regional strategy and oversees a portfolio of early-stage life science investments, partnerships, and collaborations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to this role, Scott held senior leadership positions at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, where she managed strategic alliances and drove commercialization efforts for novel therapeutics. Throughout her career, she has evaluated over 500 biotechnology startups and facilitated more than 50 multi-million-dollar licensing agreements, integrating emerging science into corporate pipelines. She also works closely with the JLABS incubator network and Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation to support early-stage healthcare companies. Scott’s professional focus remains centered on advancing global healthcare by bridging academic research and commercial drug development through strategic corporate venture capital.
