Neil Thomas

Neil Thomas is a Partner at Ventac Partners, Head of IP at CENEXUM Technologies, and the Chief Business Officer of Cube Labs SpA. With nearly three decades of experience in life sciences, he previously served as Director of Business Development and Intellectual Property at Genetrix SL, where he managed licensing operations across a portfolio of ten companies. During his tenure, Thomas facilitated a €27 million venture capital round for Cellerix SA and contributed to its subsequent merger with TiGenix NV, which was later acquired by Takeda. His academic engagements include serving as an Adjunct Professor at IE Business School and a Visiting Lecturer for the bioscience enterprise program at the University of Cambridge. Thomas currently focuses on patent portfolio management, technology transfer, and commercializing academic intellectual property for early-stage biotechnology ventures across Europe.
