Neil Shah

Neil Shah is a Partner at Greenoaks Capital based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on making concentrated, long-term investments in technology-enabled businesses operating globally. Since joining the investment firm in 2013, he has applied a strategy that combines traditional private equity financial discipline with a venture capital investing approach. Prior to his tenure at Greenoaks, Shah worked as an investor at Vista Equity Partners, specializing in enterprise software buyouts and corporate carveouts. During his time at Vista, he also helped launch the firm's inaugural credit fund, known as VCO, expanding their alternative asset management capabilities. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Shah currently leverages his institutional background in software buyouts and credit structuring to identify and support scaling technology companies across international markets.
