Before establishing his own company, he spent six years working at Facebook and its successor Meta, where he served as both a software engineer and a technical lead. Following his tenure at Meta, Chen transitioned to TikTok, where he was responsible for supporting full-stack engineering initiatives dedicated to the TikTok Creator Marketplace. Originally born and raised in Northern China, he has spent his career navigating the technical demands of major social media platforms and developing complex creator monetization systems. Today, he is leveraging his corporate engineering experience to build and scale Nimbus as a distributed organization.
