Neil Bhammar is currently the Managing Partner at Dorm Room Fund, a student-led venture capital firm focused on university ecosystems. He previously studied finance, entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial engineering at Northeastern University, where he also served as the president of the NU Entrepreneurs Club. Before transitioning to the venture capital industry, Bhammar worked as an early employee and the Head of Operations at BusRight, a venture-backed technology startup focused on modernizing mass transit systems. At Dorm Room Fund, an organization established in 2012 with a network of over 250 alumni, he evaluates early-stage investments, supports student founders, and has authored industry commentary regarding the Generation Z journey into venture capital. His current professional focus centers on identifying early-stage investment opportunities in financial technology, education technology, and various software platforms designed to expand equitable access through technological innovation.
