Neha Suresh Kumar is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of April, an artificial intelligence startup focused on accelerating API testing. Before launching her current company, she spent seven years in the software engineering industry, which included leading engineering initiatives at Zoho to build a comprehensive accounting platform specifically for Middle Eastern markets. During the global pandemic, she also successfully bootstrapped an independent tutoring startup. She subsequently transitioned to further her education, earning a Master of Science in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2024. Her current venture, originally founded under the name NotHotDog, emerged from extensive customer discovery work and was recently accepted into the UC Berkeley Skydeck Pad13 incubator program. Her professional focus centers on combining technical engineering depth with management expertise to develop automated testing infrastructure and advanced developer tools.
