Neha Poddar

Neha Poddar is a Principal at Good Startup, where she focuses on investments within the alternative protein industry. In this role, she manages deal origination, investment analysis, and portfolio management, drawing on more than 13 years of experience across private equity, fixed income, credit, and public equities. Prior to joining Good Startup, Poddar served as the Director of Investments at JI Capital Partners and worked as an equity derivatives trader covering Southeast Asia and India at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay and earned a Master of Business Administration with High Honors as a Siebel Scholar from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Poddar currently leverages her extensive financial markets background to advance alternative protein technologies by working closely with early-stage portfolio companies.
