Neel Baronia

Neel Baronia is a New York City-based investor currently serving on the Investment Team at Tower Research Capital, where he focuses on private, strategic, and venture investments. Prior to joining the firm in January 2024, he spent three years as an Investment Principal at Betaworks, specializing in early-stage venture capital. Before his transition into institutional investing, Baronia was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Iris Cinemas, an unlimited movie theater subscription service that he operated from January 2020 to January 2021. He previously gained financial sector experience through an investment engineering internship at Bridgewater Associates and an equity research internship at Point72. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, Baronia leverages his technical background to evaluate early-stage startups and execute strategic investments across the technology sector.
