Ned Scheetz

Ned Scheetz is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aphelion Capital, a venture firm based in Mill Valley, California. Since establishing the firm in 2005, he has utilized over 20 years of investment experience to lead debt financing and venture rounds through Series E for medical technology companies. Previously, Scheetz spent nearly eight years as a Partner and Managing Director at Piper Jaffray Ventures, and worked as a Senior Research Analyst at Janus Capital. His early career included product management and sales roles at an Eastman Kodak subsidiary and Kraft General Foods, followed by education at Colby College and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Currently holding the CFA designation, Scheetz serves on the boards of Freespira and CyMedica, maintaining a primary focus on advancing innovative medical device and healthcare delivery enterprises.
