Nebiu Mela

Nebiu Mela is a Partner at Geodesic Capital based in San Francisco, California. Since joining the firm in July 2024, he has focused on technology investments, building on a venture capital career that includes backing at least five startups. Prior to his current position, Mela served as a Partner at Tishman Speyer and worked as an Investor at Intel Capital. His earlier professional experience includes technology investment banking roles at Wells Fargo Securities and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, as well as a Senior Consultant position at Accenture. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a Class 24 Kauffman Fellow. Mela combines his technical engineering foundation with advanced financial training to evaluate emerging technology enterprises.
