Nayreen Akhtar

Nayreen Akhtar is an investment professional currently serving on the Portfolio and Investments team at the Unreasonable Group. Prior to joining the organization in 2024, she worked as an investor at 2150 VC, where she evaluated early-stage climate tech startups backed by the firm's $300 million fund. Her broader career spans over eight years of experience executing investment and advisory roles at major financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Rothschild, and BGC Partners. Akhtar holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics and Management, passed the CFA Level I examination, and completed the Newton Venture Capital Fellowship at London Business School. In her current capacity, she recently participated in the Unreasonable Food 2025 program to identify and support emerging sustainable ventures. Her professional focus remains centered on deploying capital into early-stage climate technology companies to advance sustainable global infrastructure.
