Navin Thukkaram is an independent venture capital investor and former technology executive who is currently based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of Qwiki, a mobile video startup that was successfully acquired by Yahoo for $50 million in 2013. Prior to his operational leadership roles, Thukkaram worked extensively in private equity and venture investing as a deal professional at Vulcan Capital, the prominent multi-billion dollar investment firm established by Paul Allen. His formal academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Today, Thukkaram directs his primary investment activities toward early-stage technology startups, specifically targeting the SaaS, financial technology applications, and consumer technology market sectors to support high-potential founders operating within the rapidly emerging Indian startup ecosystem.
