Naveed Janmohamed

Naveed Janmohamed is the founder and CEO of Anara, an artificial intelligence scientific research platform based in San Francisco, California. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator startup reached $1 million in annual recurring revenue and acquired 1.5 million users within its first year of operation. The company currently operates with a team of five and serves researchers at prominent institutions including Stanford University, Johns Hopkins, and GlaxoSmithKline. Prior to founding Anara, Janmohamed accumulated over a decade of experience in product design and spent two years conducting academic research in affective computing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from University College London, graduating at the top of his class. His current focus centers on leveraging AI and language models to automate complex scientific workflows and enhance research productivity.
