Natty Zola

Natty Zola is a Partner at Matchstick Ventures based in Boulder, Colorado. He leads seed-stage investments in software companies across the Rockies and Midwest regions, having backed over 100 startups since joining the firm in 2018. Previously, he served as the Managing Director for Techstars Boulder from 2015 to 2020, directing six accelerator programs and investing in 64 early-stage companies. Before transitioning into venture capital, Zola founded Everlater in 2008, which he sold to AOL in 2012 prior to becoming the Senior Director of Product Management and Design at MapQuest. He began his early career at Jim Collins LLC and the General Electric Financial Management Program after earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland. His current focus remains on providing early-stage software and technology founders with strategic guidance in product development, operations, and analytics.
