Nathaniel Montana

Nathaniel Montana is a General Partner and co-founder at Liquid 2 Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. He began his technology career in 2010, receiving early mentorship from prominent industry figures including Ron Conway and Paul Graham. Montana subsequently joined Niche as an early employee in sales and business development, where he helped the startup achieve a $10 million revenue run-rate within a single year. Following the acquisition of Niche by Twitter, he transitioned into a Program Manager role at the social media corporation before shifting his focus to institutional investing. In 2016, he established Liquid 2 Ventures alongside his founding partners, which included Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana. Today, his professional focus centers entirely on leveraging his operational background to evaluate and fund early-stage technology startups through seed-stage capital allocations.
