Nathan Tague

Nathan Tague is the co-founder of SynsoryBio, a biotechnology startup developing protein therapeutics with conditional logic. Before launching the company alongside his brother Elliot Tague, he earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2023 and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering. His academic and professional background includes research positions at Harvard Medical School and various industrial biotechnology firms, where he specialized in synthetic biology and protein engineering. Throughout his career, Tague has authored multiple high-impact scientific journal publications and secured several patent filings related to precision medicine. Backed by Y Combinator, his current venture focuses on creating treatments that selectively activate at diseased tissues to target complex cancer and autoimmune disorders. Tague's primary focus remains on leveraging advanced synthetic biology to engineer highly targeted, disease-responsive therapeutic proteins for clinical applications.
