Natasha Jones

Natasha Jones is the Co-founder and CEO of Metris Energy, a climate tech startup focused on driving solar adoption within the commercial real estate sector. She established the company in January 2024 and secured a $2.3 million pre-seed funding round backed by her former employer, Octopus Ventures. Prior to launching Metris Energy, Jones worked as an early-stage investor at Octopus Ventures from August 2020 to April 2023, executing deals across the climate and fintech sectors involving Kita, Cobee, and SideKick. Her earlier professional background includes working as an algorithmic trader at Credit Suisse and serving as a board observer at Vinter, complemented by a Master of Science in Policy from UCL specializing in climate finance. In her current role, Jones focuses on leveraging her expertise in financial technology and decentralized energy to accelerate commercial solar distribution.
