Natalya Bailey

Natalya Bailey is an Investor at XFactor Ventures and the Chief Technology Officer at Accion Systems, currently based in Boston, Massachusetts. She co-founded Accion Systems during her doctoral studies, developing proprietary ion engine technology and subsequently leading the aerospace company to its first space flights while securing $40 million in venture capital and government revenue. Prior to her entrepreneurial career, she earned a doctorate from the MIT Space Propulsion Laboratory and a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University. Bailey also serves as a mentor for the Air Force Accelerator powered by Techstars and sits on the board of directors for the nonprofit organization Youth CITIES. Her current professional focus centers on advancing hard technology and space propulsion systems while actively investing in women-led businesses across the hardware, science, and artificial intelligence sectors.
