Natalie Vais

Natalie Vais is a General Partner at Spark Capital, where she focuses on early-stage venture investments. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California and began her career working on databases and distributed systems. Vais previously served as Director of Product at an analytics startup acquired by Twitter, and later worked as a Product Lead on Google's Core Infrastructure team to help launch Google Cloud Firestore. During a Google.org fellowship, she contributed to a carbon emissions monitoring project recognized among TIME Magazine's 100 Best Inventions of 2020, before transitioning to venture capital as an investor at Amplify Partners. Her portfolio exposure includes notable technology companies such as Adept, Cruise, Discord, and Postmates. Today, her investment strategy centers on early-stage founders building technical infrastructure, platforms, and developer tools.
