Nat Turner is a Managing Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA) based in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining the venture capital firm in 2021, he served as the Co-founder and CEO of AdMob, an advertising technology startup that was acquired by Google for $750 million in 2009. He subsequently co-founded and led Invitation Homes as CEO from 2012 to 2017, scaling the company to manage over 80,000 properties before guiding it through an initial public offering. The Wharton School graduate has invested in more than 50 companies via NEA, leading funding rounds for prominent tech unicorns like Attentive and Ironclad while maintaining personal investment ties to figures like Sam Altman. Turner currently focuses his early-stage venture capital efforts on seed and Series A startups operating within the artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and consumer internet sectors.
