Nand Vinchhi

Nand Vinchhi is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Axal, an artificial intelligence startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2025, the thirteen-person company focuses on automating technical debt identification and software remediation specifically for the manufacturing and distribution sectors. Axal recently launched its platform and secured backing as a participant in the Y Combinator Winter 2025 cohort. Prior to establishing his current venture, the twenty-year-old software engineer worked as an engineer at Airchat and conducted academic research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MIT CSAIL). Originally from Bengaluru, India, Vinchhi has also established a competitive programming record as a thirty-time hackathon winner. His current focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to streamline software engineering workflows and modernize legacy systems within traditional industrial supply chains.
