Nancy Hayes

Nancy Hayes is an active angel investor and startup mentor based in San Francisco, United States. She began her professional career with a nearly 20-year tenure as a senior executive at IBM before transitioning to leadership roles in the nonprofit and academic sectors. Hayes served as Dean of the College of Business at San Francisco State University in 2005, later returning to the institution as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer from 2011 to 2013. After co-founding the crowdfunding platform MoolaHoop in 2013, she spent three years as Managing Director of the Golden Seeds Silicon Valley chapter and built a personal investment portfolio of more than 25 companies. Holding an MBA from the University of Chicago, Hayes currently focuses on providing capital, strategic feedback, and network introductions to women entrepreneurs and founders of color.
