NADAV ZAMIR

Nadav Zamir is the Head of Algorithms R&D at the Alibaba Machine Intelligence Lab, based in Raanana, Israel. Previously, he served as a Senior Algorithm and Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2015 to 2016, where he developed the world's first wireless virtual reality headset and secured multiple patents. Zamir subsequently co-founded and acted as Chief Technology Officer for the virtual reality search engine galigu until 2018, before joining Alibaba Group as a Deep Learning Applied Researcher. During his tenure at Alibaba, he directed artificial intelligence initiatives that produced a photo application reaching the number one download ranking in China. Holding a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the Technion and completing advanced coursework at Tel Aviv University, Zamir focuses on deploying machine learning and computer vision technologies to build scalable enterprise solutions.
