Myla Lai-Goldman

Myla Lai-Goldman is a Venture Partner at Hatteras Venture Partners and the Chair and Co-Founder of GeneCentric Therapeutics, based in Burlington, Vermont. Previously, she spent over 18 years at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp), including a decade serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Scientific Officer. During her executive tenure at LabCorp, she directed the introduction of more than 400 clinical assays into the commercial market. Lai-Goldman also serves on the board of directors for West Pharmaceutical Services, NovoPath, and Mercy BioAnalytics, guiding corporate strategy and therapeutic development in the life sciences industry. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University. Her current professional focus centers on advancing precision medicine, genomics, and clinical diagnostics across the broader healthcare sector.
