Mujtaba Wani

Mujtaba Wani is the Founder and Partner at Nonfiction Capital and a Principal at GSV Ventures. In his capacity at GSV Ventures, he spearheaded the firm's initial investments across India, the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America, backing prominent education technology companies such as PhysicsWallah, Quizizz, and Classplus. Previously, he spent three years working in the private equity group at BlackRock, where he executed capital allocations for high-growth enterprises including Rivian, Morphe, Asurion, and Cotiviti. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from Yale University, graduating in 2017 after co-leading the Dwight Hall Socially Responsible Investment Fund and serving as a Fellow with the Life Worth Living Program. Wani currently focuses on deploying early-stage venture capital into next-generation software startups that are modernizing legacy industries and scaling global education platforms.
