Moshe Yanai is the Chief Technology Evangelist and former Chief Executive Officer of Infinidat, based in Israel. He previously shaped the global data storage industry through engineering and leadership roles at EMC and Elbit Systems, as well as by founding XIV. As a veteran entrepreneur and investor, Yanai held a significant stake in Diligent, which IBM acquired for $200 million in 2008, and served on the boards of Axxana and Sight Diagnostics. Despite building Infinidat into a technology enterprise historically valued at over $1 billion and reporting 790 million shekels in cumulative personal income between 2007 and 2023, he was declared officially bankrupt in 2024 with estimated debts of $120 million against $79 million in assets. The Technion graduate remains a recognized pioneer whose career focuses on enterprise data protection and high-end storage systems.
