Morten Byskov

Morten Byskov is the Co-founder and former Product Lead of GamerPay, a gaming marketplace for trading in-game assets. He helped launch the platform in 2021, guiding it through the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and securing a $2 million seed funding round led by FundersClub and PreSeed Ventures. Under his product leadership, GamerPay facilitated over 500,000 trades worth $50 million among an active user base of more than 500,000 players before being acquired by the Finnish game studio Social First in November 2025. Prior to his recent entrepreneurial ventures, Byskov spent five years working as a broker at Maersk and two years serving as a Product Owner at the financial technology firm SumUp. His career focuses on product management and transactional marketplaces, combining his professional fintech expertise with his background as a competitive Counter-Strike player and enthusiast.
