Mood Rowghani

Mood Rowghani is a General Partner and co-founder at Bond, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing Bond in 2018 alongside Mary Meeker, Juliet de Baubigny, and Noah Knauf, he served as a Principal at the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. In his current capacity, Rowghani targets early-stage investments ranging from Pre-Seed to Series B+ funding rounds across the enterprise, fintech, artificial intelligence, consumer, and software-as-a-service sectors. He has successfully led strategic investments in several prominent technology companies, including Canva, Cockroach Labs, Ironclad, Checkr, and Sentry. Through the Bond platform, he also supports later-stage growth initiatives, participating in recent Series D funding rounds for startups like Flink and Carbon Robotics. Rowghani currently focuses on utilizing a research-driven methodology to identify and support high-impact emerging technology startups operating globally.
