Mona El Isa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Avantgarde Finance and the core Founder of the Enzyme protocol, operating primarily out of London, United Kingdom. Before transitioning into the decentralized finance sector, she spent nearly eight years at Goldman Sachs, where she served as a Vice President trading European equities and macro strategies. Following her extensive tenure at the multinational investment bank, she worked as a portfolio manager at the Geneva-based hedge fund Jabre Capital before eventually launching her own traditional fund. In 2016, she shifted her focus to blockchain technology and co-founded Melonport, which later rebranded to Enzyme, to build a decentralized on-chain asset management protocol that automates back-office operations. Her current professional focus centers on bridging institutional capital with decentralized finance infrastructure through Avantgarde Finance, providing professional-grade digital asset management solutions for modern investors.
