Molly Yang

Molly Yang is the Head of Portfolio Management for the Aspire Fund at NZ Growth Capital Partners, based in Auckland, New Zealand. She brings over 15 years of experience in venture capital and startup operations, having previously managed investments and operations for two healthtech-focused venture capital funds in China. In her current capacity, she oversees post-investment activities for early-stage ventures, advising founders on capitalization tables, corporate governance, and go-to-market strategies. Yang is also an active ecosystem mentor who has supported numerous entrepreneurs through organizations such as the Electrify Accelerator, Te Ōhaka Incubation, and the University of Auckland Investment Club. Additionally, she has collaborated with the Ministry of Awesome to facilitate masterclasses for women founders navigating the fundraising process. Her current focus centers on guiding ambitious healthtech founders through international expansion and operational scaling across global markets.
