Mohit Kumar

Mohit Kumar is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of BusinessOnBot, a WhatsApp-based e-commerce software platform headquartered in Bengaluru, India. Prior to establishing this technology company in 2020, he earned his engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, which laid the technical foundation for his subsequent entrepreneurial career. Under his executive leadership, BusinessOnBot successfully participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2021 (W21) accelerator batch and subsequently secured $1.3 million in seed funding from investors to expand its enterprise operations. The software platform currently enables over 300 direct-to-consumer brands to automate customer acquisition and manage end-to-end retail sales directly through the WhatsApp messaging ecosystem. Kumar's current professional focus centers on scaling conversational commerce infrastructure and integrating artificial intelligence to optimize customer retention for emerging retail brands operating within the broader Indian consumer market.
