Mohammed Al-Wahaibi

Mohammed Al-Wahaibi is the Co-Founder and Partner at Phaze Ventures, Oman's first private venture capital firm, based in Oman. In November 2021, he helped launch the firm's $30 million fund, which is backed by the country's sovereign wealth fund and targets technology startups across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. Al-Wahaibi previously served as a general partner at the SparkLabs Energy accelerator and currently holds board positions at the Assarain Group and PhazeRo. Additionally, he serves as an advisory board member for both the German University of Technology in Oman and Sultan Qaboos University. His professional background combines engineering and operational experience across the United Kingdom and Oman. His current focus centers on directing early-stage technology investments, advising portfolio companies like eMushrif, and leading corporate governance restructuring for his family’s commercial conglomerate.
