Mitchell Kokko

Mitchell Kokko is a General Partner and Investment Committee Member at Valley Capital Partners, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He manages day-to-day operations, deal flow, and diligence for the venture firm, which writes average checks of $9 million into early-stage technology companies. Previously, he spent five years at the University of Notre Dame's Pit Road Fund, serving as a Principal and overseeing a portfolio of 43 startups. His operational experience includes working as a Business Development Manager at Ecwid before its acquisition by Lightspeed, and co-founding Xstudia as its Chief Operating Officer. He has supported notable investments including Simba Chain, Madison Reed, and Atlas 3D, which was later acquired by Siemens. Kokko currently focuses his investments on seed and Series A opportunities across the robotics, enterprise artificial intelligence, and climate technology sectors.
