Mitch Kitamura

Mitch Kitamura is the Managing Partner and COO at DNX Ventures, where he leads investments in early-stage B2B startups. During a venture capital career spanning over 20 years, he has backed more than 40 companies and previously established the United States operations for a Japanese firm. Kitamura has directed capital into prominent technology companies including Paystand, PayJoy, and SafeGraph, while holding active board seats at Banzai, Creadits, and Peatix. His portfolio track record features several significant exits, such as the acquisition of Swell by Apple and the public offerings of LiveRamp and Fortinet. He holds a bachelor's degree in international business from Curtin University and a master's degree in economics from Boston University. Kitamura currently focuses his investments on enterprise AI, fintech, and mobile software, emphasizing cross-border business expansion between the Asian and US markets.
