Ming Cheah is a Managing Partner at the venture capital firm 500 Global, currently based in Singapore. He holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and began his financial career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs before eventually transitioning into private equity. Throughout his venture capital tenure, Cheah has managed over $300 million in funds and executed more than 100 early-stage tech investments, including backing notable regional unicorns such as Carousell and Ninja Van. In his recent activities, he successfully led a $143 million fundraise dedicated to Southeast Asian markets in March 2025 and directed a Series A investment into the artificial intelligence startup PixelMind in January 2026. His current focus remains on bridging traditional finance with emerging technology ecosystems by funding early-stage fintech, consumer internet, and software-as-a-service enterprises.
