Minal Hasan

Minal Hasan is the Founder and General Partner at Cyphr VC, a venture capital firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before launching her solo-GP fund in 2021, she founded K2 Global in 2015, where she raised $183 million to help technology companies scale operations between Silicon Valley and Asia. Earlier in her career, Hasan practiced startup law, representing prominent technology clients such as Twitter and Uber, and served as a law clerk at the High Court of Delhi. She also held the position of Vice President at Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs from 2014 to 2016 and earned degrees from the University of Southern California and the University of California, Berkeley. Today, her investment strategy primarily targets pre-seed and seed-stage startups operating within highly regulated sectors, including artificial intelligence, financial technology, and blockchain.
