Milo Werner is currently a General Partner at DCVC, where she leads climate investments focused on advanced deep tech ventures addressing industrial environmental challenges. Prior to joining DCVC, she held partner positions at several prominent venture capital firms, including MIT’s The Engine, Ajax Strategies, and Khosla Ventures. Her investment career is underpinned by significant operational experience, notably leading new product introduction at Tesla and working with the African solar and battery startup Zola. Werner also founded The NextGen Industry Group to advance manufacturing technologies and holds a Master of Science in civil engineering and an MBA from MIT, alongside dual bachelor's degrees from the University of Vermont. She currently focuses her capital allocation on funding early-stage companies dedicated to decarbonizing high-emitting industries, advancing manufacturing capabilities, and developing deep tech solutions for climate mitigation and adaptation.
