Milesh Patel

Milesh Patel is a physician and investor currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Commodore Capital. Prior to his transition into the investment sector, he practiced internal medicine as a physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University Irving Medical Center and consulted for a top five pharmaceutical company regarding technology acquisition strategies. Patel previously conducted research at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, co-authoring scientific publications in high impact journals including Nature Methods. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he was named a Vilcek Scholar as one of the top two students in his class. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Columbia University, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Rabi Scholarship.
