Miko Matsumura

Miko Matsumura is a General Partner at Gumi Cryptos Capital based in Tokyo, Japan, where he leads global investments in early-stage Web3 startups. Before transitioning to venture capital, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of KDDI R&D Labs America and earned a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. Through his current firm, Matsumura has deployed more than $100 million across multiple funds and manages a portfolio exceeding 50 investments, featuring recognizable blockchain companies such as Immutable X and Axelar.
