Mike Spadafore

Mike Spadafore is a Chicago-based Managing Director at Valtruis and an Operating Partner at WCAS, bringing over 15 years of experience as a healthcare and technology investor. Prior to joining Valtruis in 2024, he served as a Managing Director at Sandbox Industries and the Blue Venture Fund, which manages over $850 million in assets. He previously founded Sandbox Advisors to provide healthcare strategy consulting, began his career as a consultant at PwC, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Throughout his career, Spadafore has served as executive education faculty at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and held board positions at companies including ID Experts, Prove, and Workit Health. His current investment focus centers on value-based care, medical devices, and software solutions designed to build sustainable healthcare systems.
