Mike Schatzman

Mike Schatzman is the Managing Partner at New Leaf Invest, an early-stage venture capital firm based in New York City. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of more than 30 companies and manages over $100 million in assets, having recently closed a new $75 million fund in January 2026. Before leading New Leaf Invest, he served as a Principal at ff Venture Capital from 2015 to 2020, where he invested in over 50 startups, and held earlier positions at BoxGroup and Goldman Sachs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and has overseen notable portfolio exits to major technology corporations, including acquisitions by Salesforce and Adobe. Schatzman currently focuses his primary investment strategy on seed and Series A startups operating within the enterprise software, financial technology, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence sectors.
