Mike Perovich Sr.

Mike Perovich Senior is the Chief Executive Officer of Future Transfer and a Principal at Ag Capital Canada, based in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Raised on a tobacco and cash crop farm, he began his entrepreneurial journey by purchasing Future Farm Supplies in 1980, scaling it into eastern Canada's largest agricultural chemical and seed logistics company. After forming BlueStar Distribution in 2011 and selling it to Univar Canada in 2015, he repurchased Future Transfer alongside partner John Lansink in 2020 to expand operations nationwide. That same year, he launched Ag Capital Canada to manage a $23.5 million private equity fund focused on driving agri-food innovation and agribusiness growth. Additionally, he founded GP Capital for equipment leasing and oversees operations at Tillsonbrands, BlueStar Air Services, and MyMotors to support small business growth across the Canadian agricultural sector.
