Mike Packer

Mike Packer is a Partner and the Head of LatAm at QED Investors, where he focuses on sourcing new venture capital deals and supporting existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining the investment firm, he spent ten years at Capital One, holding various leadership roles across corporate strategy, credit risk management, data analytics, and product development. During his tenure at the financial institution, he directed the small business lending division and managed operations in account management, retail partnerships, and subprime credit cards. In his current capacity, he oversees a diverse portfolio of Latin American financial technology startups, including active investments in prominent regional companies such as Covalto, Fairplay, and Betterfly. Packer currently concentrates his investment strategy on regional financial technology enterprises, specifically targeting emerging platforms in alternative lending, digital payments, and comprehensive small business solutions.
