Mike Muller is the co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer of ARM Holdings, currently serving as an independent technology investor and board member based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. He helped establish ARM in 1990, guiding the company's technical strategy as it grew to dominate the global semiconductor intellectual property market with billions of processors shipped annually. During his tenure as CTO from 2000 until his retirement in 2019, Muller oversaw the development of low-power microprocessor architectures that became the industry standard for mobile devices, including Apple and Samsung smartphones. Prior to co-founding ARM, he worked as an engineer at Acorn Computers, where he contributed to the original RISC machine design.
