Mike Matteo

Mike Matteo is a Venture Partner at Oak HC/FT, where he focuses on early-stage venture opportunities and growth equity within the healthcare sector. Previously, Matteo served as President of Grand Rounds Health, successfully scaling the company's virtual care and navigation offerings to serve more than 200 employer customers. Before that, he spent 23 years in executive leadership at UnitedHealth Group, holding prominent titles including Chief Client Officer of OptumRx, Chief Executive Officer of UnitedHealthcare National Accounts, and the inaugural Chief Growth Officer for Optum. Having begun his early career at The Travelers Insurance Company, Matteo has established a three-decade track record focused on scaling healthcare services and navigating complex industry ecosystems.
