Mike Masterson

Mike Masterson is a Boston, Massachusetts-based entrepreneur and executive with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and advanced materials sectors. Throughout his career, he has built sustainable enterprises while serving as a corporate chief executive officer, board chairman, and venture capital partner. Masterson serves as an Investment Committee Member for the Maroon Venture Partner Fund at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and previously spent five years as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Additionally, he completed the Owner-President Management Program at Harvard Business School, alongside earning chemical engineering degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Masterson currently focuses on leveraging his extensive executive background to support emerging ventures and academic institutions within the life sciences and engineering ecosystems.
