Mike Kail is currently an Investor at GIT1K, an end-user syndicate for technology executives, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience in enterprise technology, specializing in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, organizational health, and big data scalability. Previously, Kail served as Vice President of IT Operations at Netflix and held executive positions including Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Yahoo, Egnyte, and Zimperium. Throughout his career, he has acted as a strategic advisor and executive technologist for more than 20 early-stage companies, guiding their software deployments, virtualization strategies, and infrastructure development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Iowa State University. Today, Kail primarily focuses his efforts on funding and advising pre-vetted enterprise software startups through the GIT1K global community.
